On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness

I have been playing some new games over the weekend. I downloaded episode one and two of "On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness" through Steam. They have turned out to be some the funniest and enjoyable games I have played since "World of Goo!"

The game is set in New Arcadia in 1922, you join the ranks of the Startling Development detective agency when a giant robot smashes your house. You battle robots, mimes, barber shop quartets, and clowns on your way to the end, upgrading weapons and leveling the whole time.

No Homo

I just read all the Twilight books these past two weeks. Yeah, call me gay if you want, but they were ok. The target audience is still young adult girls but it had a decent story.

I saw the movie a few weeks ago and was interested enough to inspect the first book. I was impressed with Stephanie Meyer's work and went through the other three.

I will say that she uses the word chagrin WAY too many times. For a word that never comes up in common dialect of an 18 year old girl, she used it over thirty times at least.

To Mom and Angela: You should read the books, I bet you would enjoy them too.

Beer!

My favorite liquor store is closing. I went in today to see what kind of deals they had and bought some Rogue Brewery bottles to keep as collectibles. They also had a few styles I have never seen before and thought I would try them. Don't overlook the the Dead Guy Growler at the end!

Fail!

I was at Borders book store today, browsing the bargain book section and caught a classic Fail Blog moment.

I submitted to Fail Blog, lets see if it gets posted!
